Project Overview
A strategic marketing campaign launching Sukoshi Mart’s new store at Westfield Valley Fair in Santa Clara, California.
The rollout delivers cohesive, targeted content across Instagram, web banners, and email marketing to drive engagement throughout the launch.
Its modular visual layout was adopted as the scalable template for future store openings.

Design Direction
The design draws inspiration from Silicon Valley’s dynamic fusion of tech innovation and modern lifestyle aesthetics.
Sleek elements, vibrant gradients, and crisp layouts capture the Bay Area’s energy.
As a playful touch, mascot MO is cleverly integrated into the storefront design, inviting interaction and discovery.

Garden State Plaza Opening Campaign

SUKOSHI MART

An opening campaign for Sukoshi Mart at Garden State Plaza in New Jersey, developed to build awareness through a strategic three-phase rollout. 
The system ensures consistent messaging across Instagram, web banners, and email marketing leading up to the launch.

Design Direction
The design reinterprets New Jersey’s “Garden State” identity through colorful, garden-themed elements.
Layered greenery and blooming florals form a vibrant environment that frames the new store launch. 
This approach strengthens Sukoshi's friendly identity, with the mascot MO integrated into the compositions to encourage interaction and discovery.

Fairview Mall Re-opening Campaign

SUKOSHI MART

Project Overview
A store refresh for Sukoshi Mart’s Fairview Mall location in Toronto, updated to align with the brand’s latest visual system.

Design Direction
Inspired by Y2K digital interfaces, the creative uses window layouts, pixel graphics, and bold colors to create a playful visual language. 
UI-inspired buttons, loading bars, and pop-ups frame the store’s refresh, reinforcing the renewal while appealing to Sukoshi’s trend-driven audience.

The campaign follows a streamlined two-phase structure:

Inspired by Atlanta’s downtown skyline, the creative uses a retro graphic approach with halftone textures to evoke a nostalgic yet vibrant feel.  
Scrapbook-style headlines add a playful, handcrafted quality to the layered visual language.

The visual direction draws inspiration from Miami’s coastal atmosphere, using water textures and pastel tones to evoke a relaxed, sunlit mood. 
The mascot MO adds charm and personality, elevating the brand's playful visual narrative.

New K-Beauty Brand Launch Campaign

SUKOSHI MART

Project Overview
To kick off the new year in January 2026, Sukoshi Mart introduced two emerging K-beauty brands to its community: A'ddict, a minimalist fragrance brand focused on 
gentle, skin-friendly scents, and FRANKLY, a clean, science-backed skincare brand. The campaign was designed to build anticipation, highlight brand identities, 
and drive launch traffic across digital channels.

My Role & Deliverables
Designed cohesive, multi-channel launch marketing assets, ensuring seamless visual execution for the official drop:

A scalable mall asset template system was developed to support future store openings. 
The system ensures consistent execution across mall screens, websites, and advertising placements.
Its modular design allows for maximum flexibility across diverse formats and content needs.

Design Direction
The system is driven by a distinctive typographic treatment that establishes a consistent and recognizable visual language. 
Brand imagery is combined with Sukoshi’s store interiors, integrating product and environment into layered compositions that strengthen context.

DonDonYa (Côte-des-Neiges) Brand Refresh

DonDonYa Restaurant

Project Overview
A brand refresh for DonDonYa’s CDN location, optimizing the existing identity for a more consistent and welcoming presence. 
The updated system creates a memorable experience for the local student and professional community.

Design Direction
The visual system balances Japanese fusion heritage with a modern, playful energy. 

  • Refined Palette
       
  Forest Shadow (grounding), Yuzu Amber (appetite appeal), and Tofu Cream (balance).

  • Logo Evolution
         Reimagining the original floral element in Yuzu Amber to inject youthfulness while maintaining brand continuity.

  A dynamic social framework including illustrated Instagram highlight covers, story templates, and post layouts to encourage interaction.

Hi, I’m Peiyao — a graphic designer experienced in creating digital and print design solutions across the beauty, lifestyle, and food & beverage sectors.

I focus on marketing campaigns and multi-channel visual execution, translating campaign strategies into cohesive and visually engaging experiences across digital and physical touchpoints. My work emphasizes clean visual hierarchy and intentional layouts, creating designs that are clear, structured, and impactful.
